Service Description
We can provide S.T.E.M. related workshops to students from elementary to high school, to teach them basic knowledge of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math field. Experiment examples include but are not limited to, how to create a battery using a lemon, how to make gooey slime, how to make a mini car out of everyday items, and even how to make a bottle rocket! These are just a few examples. Please feel free to check out our YouTube page for other cool activities our company can provide! ***Please note, the price varies on the number of students participating*** Pk (1) 1-5 students Pk (2) 5 -10 students Pk (3) 10-15 students Pk (4) 15-25 students Pk (5) 25+ students The first week is the introduction of what STEM is and why it is so important in our world today- brief presentation, icebreaker, and a Science Experiment. The second week is exploring careers in STEM and role-playing different FAMOUS STEM people, i.e. Steve Jobs, Catherine Johnson, and a Technology Experiment The third week is now getting a little more technical, we will start incorporating electrical and mechanical circuits in the Engineering Experiments. The fourth week is learning why Math is so important and how it is all around us. This Math experiment will either deal with measurements ( baking, shapes, etc), or pretending we own a store and through role play, we have to budget our daily income and expenses. This will also help teach some financial literacy as well.
